Scabies refers to a highly contagious infection especially of skin.  Mite causes scabies. Mites are parasite, can seen under microscope. Scabies causes itch, inflammation, and irritation. Scabies carrier can cause infection in other contacted persons. It is highly contagious disease and caused by “scab mites”.   Mites also affect animals and especially pets like cats and dogs. Scabies primarily affect knees, back elbow etc.  Signs, symtoms of scabies vary from person to person, and intensity of symtoms may different in various patients.  The symtoms of scabies divided in three sub categories,

 Rash Symtoms of scabies, Rash is one of the major symtoms of scabies. Rash occurs at different body parts like, hands ,between fingers, underarm, around and under breast, genital rash, in addition to elbow, and thigh rash. Rash is the first sign of scabies. If rashes stay up to four days and intensity increases with itching, then you must contact a doctor.

Scabies can occur at your face, inside ears, palms, head, or even all over body. The symtoms of scabies may stays up to eight weeks. Subtle itch continues for first weeks, and then gradually intensity reduces. Scabies infection may transmitted by sexual contact. It begins with small itch or red bump.
